Jessica Stanford is an intern architect at LAT49 Architecture in St. John’s, Newfoundland. A native of St. John’s, Jessica worked previously in both Toronto and Shanghai before returning to the East Coast in 2013 to work with Woodford Sheppard Architecture and now with LAT49. She completed a Bachelor of Architectural Science and a Masters of Architecture at Ryerson University in Toronto, Ontario graduating in 2013 while previously studying History and Geography at Memorial University in St. John’s before attending architecture school. Throughout the 9 years of her university education she has traveled extensively, studying architecture and design throughout Canada, parts of northern United States, England and China. Jessica is currently a member of the Newfoundland and Labrador Association of Architects Lecture Series Committee responsible for planning an annual Architecture Lecture Series in St. John’s and also advocates for architecture in the Province.
